Aura
Clionadh Aura Iridescent Multichrome Eyeshadow (Series 2) ($14.25 for 0.05 oz.) has a translucent base with multichrome shimmer and smaller sparkle that shifted between cooler pink, warmer pink, peach, gold, and chartreuse. Per the brand, it has a “translucent base that reflects pink-red-orange-gold-lime.” I didn’t have any issues finding and seeing all of the different shifts on the eye, though full on “lime” was more chartreuse to my eye.
It had nearly opaque color coverage from all of the shimmer/sparkle in it, and it was fully opaque when applied with a dampened brush or a fingertip. The texture was smooth to the touch, emollient and moderately dense in the pan, so it wasn’t prone to fallout when applied to bare skin. It lasted well for eight and a half hours before creasing faintly on me.

Formula Overview
$14.25/0.05 oz. – $285.00 Per Ounce
For those who find more popular Multichrome formulas (often the ones with black bases) harder to incorporate into looks, the Iridescents are some of the more versatile Multichromes I’ve come across that offer intense, shifting effects whether they’re used alone, sheered out, over an eyeliner, or patted over one’s favorite eyeshadow. They are also a bit smoother and firmly-pressed into the pan with a, generally, finer shimmer/sparkle to them, so they are less fragile and prone to fallout.
They work well with dry brushes, whether firmer or fluffier, along with fingertips and dampened brushes. The latter two methods yield more intense and metallic finishes and slightly more even application from the get-go. The majority of the shades had semi-opaque to opaque color coverage–more from the shimmer/shift as the bases are designed to be transparent–that blended out easily and stayed on well for eight to nine hours before fading.

Halo
Clionadh Halo Iridescent Multichrome Eyeshadow (Series 2) ($14.25 for 0.05 oz.) has a translucent base chocked full of multichrome shimmer and finer sparkle that shifted between orange-peach, peachy gold, and chartreuse paired with a metallic sheen. Per the brand, it has a “translucent base that reflects hot orange-peach-gold-lime.” I don’t know about “hot orange” so much as a pastel orange, but otherwise, I had no trouble detecting the various shifts when used on the eye/in person without having to contort myself in seven different ways.
The eyeshadow had a smooth, moderately dense consistency that was pressed firmly enough not to be prone to fallout but was still yielding to a dry brush. It applied evenly to bare skin and wasn’t prone to fallout. It had opaque color coverage–from the shimmer/shift rather than the base–that could be diffused as a wash by using less and applying with a fluffier brush. There were signs of fading present after eight and a half hours of wear.
