Formula Overview
$9.00/0.11 oz. – $81.82 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to sheer coverage with “hi-shine” that is “smoothing” without being sticky. The consistency was lightweight, smooth, non-sticky, and spreadable, which made it a very plush and comfortable formula to wear.
Some shades were more smoothing than others, but I noticed that darker-hued shades had a tendency to settle into my lip lines more noticeably. I was surprised–and disappointed–as one of the things I loved most about the original gloss formula was how forgiving and smoothing it was.
The pigmentation was sheer to semi-sheer, as marketed, while the longevity was solid (good for a gloss) at three to four hours. The formula felt hydrating to wear. It had a sweet, red candy-like scent but no discernible taste.
