Fairytale Forest
LORAC Fairytale Forest Pro Palette (2020) ($35.00 for 0.56 oz.) is a more desaturated neutral eyeshadow palette with a mix of mattes and shimmers. It included eight matte eyeshadows and 10 shimmer eyeshadows, which all performed pretty well; they were pigmented, blendable, and long-wearing.
There were a few shimmers that seemed to have more transparent bases, but they weren’t dry, so they still had good adhesion and shine. The matte formula can be a touch powdery but tended to have higher coverage that wasn’t prone to sheering out or having fallout, so it was more something present in the pan but not during application.

Folklore is a light-medium peachy-gold with strong, warm undertones and a sparkling sheen. The texture was smooth, emollient, and more cream-like, but it had medium to semi-opaque coverage that applied mostly evenly with a fingertip or a dampened brush.
