LSD
Urban Decay LSD 24/7 Shadow StickUrban Decay LSD 24/7 Shadow Stick ($26.00 for 0.04 oz.) has a cooler, black base with flecks of lighter, brighter blue sparkle. It had sheer coverage in a single layer, which was buildable to semi-opaque coverage. It was still somewhat patchy when applied and built up, and while I tried to blend it out with fingertips as well as brushes, it was hard to get soft, diffused edges, even looking at it from afar. It was better as an eyeliner or as a defined shape of product on the lid.
The texture was lightly creamy initially but very quick to dry down, and the dry down was lightly tacky and inflexible, which made it difficult to blend out once it set; I had about five seconds before it was more immovable. It showed signs of fading and creasing by the seven-hour mark.

Formula Overview
$26.00/0.04 oz. – $650.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have “creamy, supercharged color” in “one swipe” with “glides on smooth” and “allow[s] time to blend” before “dry[ing] down waterproof for up to 24 hours.” The pigmentation varied from shade to shade with more matte shades tending to have more semi-opaque or fuller coverage while shimmer shades were often sheerer, more medium coverage, and prone to color pushing around instead of building up.
They have an almost instant dry down; I wouldn’t say one had “15-30 seconds” to work with it… more like five to 10 seconds. It felt lightly tacky and inflexible after that, so any additional blending was more apt to lift and pull up product, which created patchiness, than actually blend it out.
I’d recommend using a separate brush or fingertips to apply the product, so you’ll want to pick up product off of the actual pencil rather than using it directly. The reason for this is that it dried down so quickly and often applied unevenly, and when I tried to blend out with my fingertip after direct application, I ended up with patchiness. I found the texture to be too uneven and dry to work well as a base; the tackiness helped products adhere, but a regular, smoother primer (including the brand’s own Primer Potion) did a better job of yielding better end results for troublesome eyeshadows… and lasted longer.
Some shades looked drier and were more prone to emphasizing lid texture, and it seemed slightly more common with lighter, more matte shades (or at least, it was more noticeable). The wear ranged from six to eight hours before creasing and fading noticeably, so they were decently long-wearing–in general–though obviously not anywhere close to 24-hour wear. I took a nap with four of the shades on, and they were worse for the wear, so no, they are not particularly long-wearing.
In general, they are a weaker formula based on their claims, and there seem like a lot of other pencil formulas to choose from that outperform this one, so it’s hard to imagine who these are designed for. For sheerer, one-and-done looks, they might work, but the inability to really soften and blend them out still makes me think that other formulas would be far more worthy of time and money spent.

Chaos
Urban Decay Chaos 24/7 Shadow StickUrban Decay Chaos 24/7 Shadow Stick ($26.00 for 0.04 oz.) is a bright, cobalt blue with strong, cool undertones and a matte finish. The texture was lightly creamy and emollient without being too wet, and while it dried down quickly, it was marginally more forgiving and had more play time than the majority of other shades. It still wasn’t enough time to really blend out the edges, and given the contrast of this shade against most skin tones, time was really needed. As a result, functionally, it would be better as an eyeliner or used for stronger shapes where the edges did not need to be blended out.
It had medium coverage, which did not build up that well as the pencil seemed to push product around in places, rather than adhering and yielding greater coverage. There was fading after seven hours of wear and creasing after seven and a half hours of wear.

Digitalized
Urban Decay Digitalized 24/7 Shadow StickUrban Decay Digitalized 24/7 Shadow Stick ($26.00 for 0.04 oz.) has a darker, gray base with flecks of lighter silver and bluish-teal sparkle and pearl throughout. It had sheer color coverage that did not build up evenly, which is very visible in the right-hand swatch! The texture was lightly emollient but did not adhere evenly, and while I tried to blend it out, it did not diffuse evenly and often product dried down too quickly or too readily to both fingertip and my lid that it was a mess.
Brushes worked better for diffusing the color, as they were less prone to capturing half the product, but the formula set so quickly that the roughness/firmness of a fingertip was more practical for efficient blending than the featheriness of a brush. It wore decently for six hours before fading and seven hours before creasing.

Freak
Urban Decay Freak 24/7 Shadow StickUrban Decay Freak 24/7 Shadow Stick ($26.00 for 0.04 oz.) is a light, bright lime green with subtle, warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It had semi-opaque pigmentation in a single layer, but it sheered out to uneven, medium coverage when I tried to build it up as well as just trying to get an even layer of product all over the lid (which often required some overlapping strokes!).
The texture was lightweight, thin, and lightly emollient with a very fast dry down–a few seconds–and felt lightly tacky and more inflexible once it set. This made it difficult to apply and blend out the edges without the product lifting up during the process. It lasted for six hours before fading and six and a half hours before creasing on me.

Mildew
Urban Decay Mildew 24/7 Shadow StickUrban Decay Mildew 24/7 Shadow Stick ($26.00 for 0.04 oz.) is a medium-dark, forest green with subtle, warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It had semi-sheer color coverage, which was buildable to semi-opaque pigmentation. I struggled to get an even layer of product as the formula didn’t build as evenly on itself as ideal, so some of the color got pushed around or bunched on itself, which resulted in patchiness.
The texture was smooth, lightly creamy, and thin but dried down within five seconds to a lightly tacky, more inflexible finish that did not like to be messed with as it would lift up if I tried to blend it out. This made it unforgiving and difficult to really apply and diffuse as there wasn’t much time to work with it. I noticed creasing start after seven hours and fading after six and a half hours.
