Chance Perdomo, star of the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and the Prime Video show Gen V, has died at the young age of 27 as the result of a motorcycle accident.
Representatives for the actor told The Hollywood Reporter that the motorcycle accident only involved Perdomo, and that no one else was injured in the tragic incident.
“His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest,” Perdomo’s reps said in a statement. “We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”
Perdomo played Andre Anderson in Gen V, which premiered in 2023. The show is a spinoff of the popular superhero series The Boys, and was renewed for a second season back in October.

In a combined statement, the producers of Gen V remarked, “We can’t quite wrap our heads around this. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person. Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense. We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.”
In Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Perdomo portrayed Ambrose Spellman, cousin of lead character Sabrina Spellman (played by Kiernan Shipka).
Perdomo’s other acting credits include the romantic film trilogy of After We Fell, After Ever Happy, and After Everything, as well as roles in the TV shows Midsomer Murders and Killed by My Debt, the latter of which earned him a BAFTA nomination.
Born in Los Angeles on October 19th, 1996, Perdomo held dual citizenship in the United States and England. A BAFTA spotlight on the actor can be seen below.
