Already the second highest-grossing tour in music history, Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres Tour” reached new heights over weekend as the band played the two biggest shows of their career in Ahmedabad, India.

More than 220,000 people turned out for a pair of concerts at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday, January 25th and Sunday, January 26th. The performances not only marked biggest of Coldplay’s career, but also set the record for the largest stadium concerts of the 21st century, according to a press release.

To date, Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres Tour has sold over 12 million tickets and grossed more than one billion dollars, making it the second most successful tour in history, surpassed only by Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour. The band will next visit Hong Kong and South Korea in April, before making its way to North America for a run of stadium of shows beginning at the end of May. Fans can get tickets here.
