Suits may be coming back to television — sort of. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Aaron Korsh, the creator of the USA legal drama, is in the early stages of developing a spinoff series for NBCUniversal.
Rather than a reboot or sequel series, the new project would exist in the same Suits universe, but with new characters. Korsh is in the early stages of developing the show, so few details are available, but the trade reports that it would most likely be set in Los Angeles (the original took place in New York City).
Suits originally ran on USA from 2011 to 2019 and starred Patrick J. Adams as a law school dropout who scams his way into becoming an associate partner at a corporate law firm. Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty, Gina Torres, and Amanda Schull rounded out the cast — as did a pre-Duchess Meghan Markle.
